Condition: Good antique condition. Wood and paint display significant wear, consistent with age and use. Woven cane seat appears to have been replaced. Please see photos.
Details: Small rustic turned wood armchair with two curve-topped back crosspieces and four low-placed leg braces. Wood has been painted with a darker paint/stain to mimic wood grain. Turned members highlighted with fine yellow trim, lower back crosspiece stenciled with gold or ochre. Edges and ends show greater wear. Front ends of arms show tool marks. Woven seat appears to have been replaced with umber-stained cane/rattan. Some whitish paint transfer on backs of uprights.
